Our company was founded by Leo Welling in 1981 in Brighton, Illinois. Leo built his reputation as a residential carpenter working one on one with his customers to provide the highest quality building experience possible.
Leo’s strong connection to his rural community helped him to develop his skills in additional types of construction. Post-frame buildings, garages, workshops and livestock buildings soon became a major part of his construction company.
Welling Construction Incorporated began erecting post frame buildings through a local connection in Godfrey, Illinois and completed thousands of these projects all around the countryside.
